May has arrived, bringing longer days, May flowers, and a renewed sense of energy. It’s the perfect time to reset, refocus, and make the most of the opportunities and fun we have planned for the weeks ahead.

🌟 Characters for the Month of May : Cooperative & Collaborative Traits
Each month we celebrate character traits that help our school community grow stronger.
Cooperative:
I can work together with others to accomplish a task or a goal.
Collaborative:
I share my ideas with others and listen to other people’s ideas too. I can work with a team.
Throughout May, teachers will recognize students who demonstrate these traits in the classroom, on the playground, and throughout our school community.

- May 1st Music Recitals in the cafeteria TK 8:30-8:50, Kinder 9:00-9:20, 1st 9:30-9:50
- May 6th Open House/Multicultural Night at 6:00 PM
- May 8th Music Recitals in the cafeteria 3rd Grade: 8:30, 2nd Grade: 9:00, Fourth Grade: 9:30
- May 15th Kindergarten promotion at 9:00 AM in the cafeteria
- May 15th Character Trait Assembly TK-3rd at 1:20 PM, 4th-8th at 2:00 PM
- May 20th 8th Grade Promotion at 6:00 PM RHS MUB
- May 21st 8th graders will walk the halls at 1:15
- May 22nd BBQ lunch for all students
- May 22nd Last Day of School
- May 22nd - Report Cards Mailed home

💡 Tip of the Month
Take advantage of the longer daylight hours—step outside, recharge, and come back with a clearer perspective. A small break can spark big ideas. Let’s finish this school year strong by making positive choices and being kind to one another.
