Student Council

Student council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. Its members are students who have been elected by their peers to participate in designated areas of school government. Student Council consists of cabinet body members (grades 7-8) and class representatives (grades 4-8). These members are given the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, Student Council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests, and concerns with the school wide community. Any student (grades 4-8) that is interested in leadership, organizational behavior, or event planning is encouraged to run for a Student Council position at the beginning of each school year.
